On Wednesday 14th July we attended the Televisual Magazine Fete, in Montague Street Gardens in London.

Last week we had the pleasure of attending our first Proline event and one of the first events in London this year. Being surrounded by people in the private and beautiful Montague Street Gardens, after so long in lockdown and working from home, was incredible. The weather was in our favour and the sun shone all afternoon, leading to a fruitful turnout. We were able to meet dozens of fascinating people from the postproduction world some from our side of the country in Bristol and Cardiff & we met our reseller partners including Jigsaw 24 as we were pitch neighbours for the day.

Firstly, we would like to thank the team at Televisual for putting together the event. Everything had been thought out down to the finest detail. James did a brilliant job in making the event run smoothly and be as safe as possible for all in attendance. This is only the start of post-COVID events, and this experience exceeded our expectations…

Televisual delivered on the Village Fete concept completely! We played Ball in a Bucket, Skittle Alley, Coconut Shy, Splat the Rat and many more! Drank a couple of glasses of Pimm’s & chatted to the SOHO Post community as the sun went down in sunny London.

We are fortunate to have been able to donate a NEW PL Media Workstation to the charity raffle! The village fete was supporting the Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields, this local charity offers a range of specialist services aimed at supporting people through the physical and psychological challenges of sleeping rough. While working with them to move off the streets and towards their futures. We are delighted that the raffle raised £1,400, that will be used to make a real difference for people.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Televisual this year and look forward to future events hosted by James and the team.

‘This was simply an amazing event; it was so good to meet so many interesting people within the film and media industry. Also being able to support the fantastic local charity, was a real bonus. Well done James Bennett at Televisual for what was a fantastic event, we will definitely be back!’
